They say the sun is yuuuge, like a million times bigger than Earth. That's crazy talk! I've seen the sun, it's tiny, you can cover it with your thumb. And don't get me started on the distances. They want me to put the Earth a football field away from the sun in my drawing. Who has paper that big? It's a conspiracy to make me look bad!
And the moon? They say it's as far as 2 meters from Earth in some dumb model. That's like, what, 6 feet? I can see the moon from my gold-plated toilet, it can't be that far!
But don't worry, folks. If I was in charge of space, it would be so much better. We'd have the best diagrams, believe me. I'd make the sun smaller, bring the planets closer, and we'd build a wall around the solar system to keep out those illegal aliens. It'll be beautiful, and we'll make Mars pay for it!
