Dang Driverless Taxis Cause Million-Dollar Ambulance Mess-Up, Claims San Francisco Fire Folks

Photography of, traffic scene, driverless taxis, blue and red lights of emergency vehicles, panicked drivers, dull city streets

An exaggerated tale of how two driverless taxis allegedly caused a disastrous situation leading to a death, as per the San Francisco Fire Department's interpretations. Our lad Ronald finds easy blame.

Well 'ere we are then! Ronald Trumpet's drawn the short straw again! Easy stuff this, simple enough, even for me noggin'. I heard about some robo-taxis causing a right kerfuffle in the San Francisco city, holding up an important van full o' do-gooders (Ambulance, that's it!).

On some sunless San Francisco day, two bloody techno-taxis decided to park themselves up like daft cars outside a sweet seller. The problem? They were right in the way of a serious van, carrying a poor sod who'd been bumped by another tin can! Now, who'd bet against those metal monsters, eh?

So, a plonker of a police car was holding up one lane while those smart-ass taxis clogged up the others. Got it, did ya? Good! First case down, a million more to go.

What's the result? Cops can't clear traffic, ambulance is sticky being delayed left and right, and that poor bloke in the back ain't doing so well! Chuffed up the job, innit?

Cruise, the comp'ny behind these road-hoggers, is playing innocent. Showing some fancy video guff, tryna show us their car moving out the way before the bloke is even loaded up. Another video showing other cars and vans scooting by unhindered. Point is, the ambulance should've been able to sail through without a hiccup.

Now, ain't saying they're to blame, and ain't saying they ain't. But me? I'd've had it sorted in a jiffy. Just kick those damn cars out the road, simple solution for a simple bloke. If only all were like your loyal Ronald.
