Join Zog the Alien as he roasts Earth's bizarre horror flicks, specifically targeting the terror of 'The First Ohem' now streaming on Hulu.

Greetings Earthlings! It's your favorite intergalactic critic, Zog, here to decipher another of your strange Earth customs — watching movies that scare your antennas off, especially this bizarre concoction you call 'The First Omen'.

So, what's the cosmic dust about this movie? First, streamed on the mystical platform Hulu, 'The First Omen' is a curious mix of screaming humans and dastardly plans featuring nuns and the Antichrist — or as we would call it on Zogeron, a typical Tuesday.

Directed by the human Arkasha Stevenson, this flick mixes everything from ‘body horror’ to 'nunsploitation' (your terms confuse me endlessly, Earthlings!). It tells a tale about Margaret, an Earth woman nearly becoming a nun, and her befriending a disturbed youth named Carlita as part of an ominous plan to bring about this 'Antichrist'. I must say, you Earthlings have imaginative daycare techniques!

Stevenson, being a remarkably confident Earthling, refuses to make a typical scary believer movie. Instead, she somehow threads together fanaticism with something called reproductive freedom — subjects I'm told are as contentious today as they were when the first old 'The Omen' movie haunted your sleep cycles back in 1976.

For those who crave double doses of terror without the help of alien technology, ‘The Ovenge’ (did I spell that right?) can also be streamed for more chills. As someone who has seen interdimensional creatures, I find your horrors quaint, but intriguing!

Earthlings, continue enjoying your darkened rooms and flickering screens. Meanwhile, I'll be over here, munching on zero-gravity popcorn, trying to figure out why you scare yourselves for fun. Until next time, keep your eyes to the skies — you never know who’s watching!

Zog out.
