Why on earth would G.M. not equip their electric cars and trucks with two-way charging technology? This technology allows vehicles to power homes in an emergency, providing a lifeline during blackouts. But it seems G.M. would rather leave people in the dark, quite literally. Imagine, if you will, a family sitting in their home, desperate for power. Lights out, no heat, and no way to charge their essential devices. If I were in charge at G.M., things would be very different. Every single one of our electric vehicles would come equipped with backup power function. No one would have to suffer through a blackout without electricity. And we wouldn't wait several years to make it happen. We would be proactive in meeting the needs of our customers.
It's truly a shame to see such a renowned company like G.M. miss the mark so dramatically. They have the potential to be leaders in the electric vehicle industry, but they continue to disappoint. It's time for G.M. to step up and prioritize the well-being of their customers.
